TOLaw’s Joe Sovis contributed many of these rockin’ pics of the 2011 Iceman Cometh Challenge. After Wes finished 90th and Cody 94th in their first races with the Pros, TOLaw will end it’s season on a high note, racing with the likes of JHK, the super-classy Jeremiah Bishop and many, many others. TOLaw’s Cody and Wes Sovis raced with the fast boys this afternoon, joining the likes of Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski, Jeremiah Bishop, World Champion Catherine Pendrel and many, many others.
TOLaw met up for the Peak2Peak Mountain Bike Classic and heads were, by all accounts, turned.
In the team debut for cyclocross this season, Cody and Wes traveled east from Allendale to Plaster Creek Family Park for some cyclocross fun. A huge turnout was treated to some fast action in all three races of the day, and none entertained quite like the B race, with some animation from the Sovis Bros.

After sitting out Saturday’s Criterium races, the TOLaw squad was fresh and up for the challenge Sunday in Cedar. The 2011 State Road Race Championship would be decided over the 15.2 mile course. From the slopes of Sullivan and Sugar Loaf and Schomberg and in the 15 mph winds, there were challenges abound; not to mention the strongest and largest fields ever to attend Northern Michigan’s biggest bike race.
The Cherry-Roubaix moved to Old Towne proper Saturday with a festival of criterium races. The rain held off, allowing for some very fast racing and aggressive riding. For the full gallery, click the image below. More photos will be as the evening progresses.
